Best Nappies

Money Saving

Which nappies does everyone use for size 5 baby? Currently using pampers premium but it's expensive.

You need to try different ones as all babies are different. I use either Tesco or Morrisons own. I've used Sainsbury's and Asda own too but the are further away so I don't buy them often. I found the lidl ones leaked a lot, never tried Aldi.

Whilst I use the Morrisons or Tesco ones, they might give your wee one nappy rash, so you need to find the one that works for you.

I agree with the every baby is different. Although I’m not a fan of the Morrisons brand as they smell like chemical. I personally use Aldi and they’re ok. But my toddler pees a lot, I have to use a nappy and a pullup at night to stop leaking

I use Aldi's. I think these new ones they've brought out are better with less leaks. They're the only ones that don't cause my wee ones skin to break out. Other brands left her bum with a rash that looked like burns and bled a lot. Apparently Aldi and lidl ones have fewer chemicals but that hasn't been confirmed by the companies.

Mine were out of nappies before size 5 but Asda and Aldi were always the best for them. We mostly used washable cloth nappies, which I found much more reliable than disposables, you can get ones that go on like disposables with Velcro fastenings and they saved ma lot of money whilst saving many nappies from going to landfill.

MrsCraig they were in size 4 from 12 months until 2.5ish when they were potty trained. They don't grow so fast after 12 months, at least mine didn't.

ClaireF1978 ahh ok, yeah I looked at the weight range on the size 4 nappies after reading your comment and given my sons current weight and how gradually he is growing, I reckon he will be in size 4 till he is potty trained too! There was me hoping you had some secret potty training magic technique!

We've tried pretty much every brand and found that Mum and You are the best. The subscription is great value but they are only £6.99 a pack at the moment. The code HELLO10 gets you £10 off a £20+ spend but it may not work while the sale is on. Genuinely the softest nappies ever, much more natural than other brands and the wipes are biodegradeable.

I did a trial for mumsnet of these nappies. They were nice but leaked overnight. Wipes were good but have found biodegradable ones in boots for 75p a pack.

Did your mum&you nappies have the three channels to them? The old style I always found leaked overnight, but the new style with channels never leaks x

I work in a nursery, I highly recommend Pampers as the best. We sometimes use aldi own brand, the + ones are better (better absorbancy than just the 5s) x

Thanks everyone he is already in size 4/5s at 6 months as he has big chunky legs and doesn't leak all night in pampers. Just stocked up in the Asda rollback sale. Also bought a few different supermarket ones to try in the daytime to save some money.
