Best Supermarket Party Food?
Ask a Question
Hi there, what supermarket would you recommend to buy party food from that just need either putting on plates, or warming in the oven. We are having a party and want to make it as easy as possible. Thinking of finger food/canapés style for adults and kids.
Tesco is where we have always gotten ours from. You can get loads in the freezer section, just put them on a try and put them in the oven. Nice and easy.
SaverDeals brie bites, mozzarella bites, the big boxes of Chinese selection, big boxes of chicken selection, onion bhajis, hot and spicy prawns are all really tasty.
I think Tesco do a big section of nibbles to put the oven and they all have the same cooking time. I did this last Christmas and it was very handy.
I find Iceland always has a great selection all year round. I love Tesco’s party nibbles but they only seem to have the good ones in our local during the Christmas to new year period!
This is really handy, I haven't tried Iceland before for party food, anything worth definitely trying?
M&S do a range of party food and all sorts of salads, dips and quiches etc. I believe there’s also a section you can order online, my friend used this and it was all fresh and good quality. Or you could try a local baker.
My choice would be Morrisons supermarkets to buy some pizza’s and dough rolls to make the better party foods
