Best Supermarket for Your Weekly Shopping?
Help
Hi there, im looking to potentially change super, srkets to see if I can cut some cost on my daily shop but keep the good quality. So what shop do you use and why?
I go to Aldi , the meat there is far cheaper than other supermarkets and just as nice. The speciality range in my opinion is far better than rivals and again is cheaper than other places. Because they are usually small stores it feels strange when you first start shopping there but give it a couple of weeks and you will feel ok. The plus side of this is that you can't be tempted to buy lots of extra things that you might by wondering up and down the aisle of a big supermarket.
Tesco, I use cashback apps on my phone that lidl etc isnt on. I agree over all Aldi is cheaper but the fruit and veg is so bad and rots quickly. also, the Tesco Clubcard and vouchers means I save up and have more for Christmas.
Aldi is good for the weekly shop,a £30 shop in Aldi is equivalent of £40-50 shop in other supermarkets. If I want more diversity or options I go to Tescos
We use tesco and morrisons as they are the two closest to where we live. The value ranges and own label stuff is really good in both. I occasionally shop in sainsbury or asda if I am in the area and need shopping. Our nearest lidl is too small to do a full shop and aldi is too far away.
Waitrose...they sent me 8 pounds coupon if I spend 40 and I only buy the things on sale there
Aldis fruit and vegs quality is so bad all the other items we buy that's a copy of the named brand are good tho I always try to go tesco for the fruit and veg
This was already posted 25 days ago, there have been an awful lot of supermarket questions lately but my store of choice is Sainsbury's.
