One of our dogs is sick as soon as he gets in the car the engine doeznt have to even be turned on . Is there anything anyone can suggest plz xx
Some say ginger and at pet shops you can get ginger capsules. Personally I would ask the vets.
If the dog is sick BEFORE the engine is switched on then it isn't travel or motion sickness. It could be one of a few things either an allergy to something in the car or nervousness - in anticipation of the car starting and moving.
I think it's more likely to be the second.
Not entirely correct since you can get motion sickness even without movement, such as video games and virtual reality headsets, etc.

Make sure your dog can see out properly, and sit it on newspaper. The latter is folklore but works for schoolchildren and dogs (sometimes).
It sounds like he is suffering from anxiety. You can get anxiety medication for dogs. Adaptil is the one everyone seems to talk about but it's very expensive. It's sold in most pet shops.
