Birthday Cakes - Homemade or Bought?

Help

What's the general consensus for when it's someone's birthday. Do you buy a cake or bake your own?

I'm not soo good when it comes to baking and don't want to spend the whole day in kitchen. That's why I either buy it from a store but mostly I get my friend to make the cake as she has her own cake business

Depends on an individual's baking abilities, but generally bought for convenience and time saving.

Homemade always. It's fun to make, it's much more personal and you control what ingredients go into it.

Ive always made birthday cakes for my son - my mum always made mine. I think its a lot cheaper to make your own there are lots of site out there to get printed toppers and decorations can be cheap if you plan ahead

One year i made a Thomas the tank engine themed cake and stuck toy engine's on it.

Homemade is always better you can use date sugar also use healthier flours such as kamut.

Rise in wheat sensitivity is due to the use of chemicals used on wheat just before harvesting to increase yield.
