Birthday Presents Idea
Ask a Question
Anyone got any ideas what to buy a little girl for a second birthday I not got a clue .
At that age less is more I have learnt this over the years. Kids today's have too much and don't get to play with them all.
Vtech have some fab toys for 2 year olds the picnic basket is cute my daughter had one and the Scoop and learn ice-cream cart was a winner still have now and is 4
She'll most probably get lots of presents that won't get played with or pushed to the back of the cupboard so either money to go in her bank account or a premium bond.
I have always bought youngest things they can put away for adulthood, especially if they have or get loads of toys. It is then something they can remember me by and hopefully worth money later. E.g. A year book of royal mail stamps for the year of birth, same with sets of coins or a set of themed Corgi collectibles, trains/cars etc.
Personalised cutlery is a nice gift, I got some plastic ones off an ebay seller last year for my nephew who is 2 for Christmas
Something like this, or perhaps you can find some with different designs or styles https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Personalised-Christmas-Kids-Childrens-Cutlery-Set-Knife-Fork-Spoon-First-Xmas/193636620898?hash=item2d15a45a62:g:Vl0AAOSwDIZfRTf0
You could buy her a stuffed toy of her favourite TV character. My niece used to love her Dora the explorer toy
I would agree you can’t go wrong with a stuffed toy, I used to get my nephews a bear from the build a bear workshop and they could choose clothes for them.
Wooden building blocks? If you like wooden pretty toys have a look at the Kidly website, I buy my gifts there usually as it's great quality (but not cheap).
I’m not going to suggest a toy but something practical. Slippers, my little nephew loved his new slippers and lifter his feet up to show everyone.
Try something on not on the high street and get it personalised always makes it look better
