So the newly launched Burger King plant based burgers are not suitable for vegans or vegetarians as they are cooked on the same grill as meat burgers

Yummy - a veggie burger with a side of beef juice! 
They should just pan fry the plant based burgers if they are ordered by vegans or vegetarians. Although, most vegans/vegetarians I know wouldn't want to go in or purchase any type of food in Burger King, McDonald's, KFC, etc
Same here. There’s too many chances of cross contamination. It’s best they eat elsewhere
I read about this and have to say I do find it bizarre that it’s not even actually vegetarian?! BK justifying it with they need to do it on the grill too maintain their signature flamegrill seems like a weak excuse! I can’t imagine it’s going to go down well.
I think its alright myself, many people are flexitarians and may want to reduce meat consumption if not fully vegetarian or vegan. It still reduces meat consumption and if they feel for this particular food its not fair to call it vegan or vegetarian because of how its cooked so be it. I prefer honesty myself.
I stopped eating lamb decades ago but know many foods I eat may be thickened with gelatin which could have come from lamb but that doesn't bother me I just don't eat lamb meat itself. Every vegan or vegetarian is I'm sure consuming small animals all the time as they breath especially while sleeping does that stop them being fully vegan or vegetarian. Also small animals are hidden within the food we eat even if vegetarian/vegan its been estimated over a lifespan we consume 2lbs of animals without knowing other estimates are greater.
This BK plant based burger is good for the environment and no animals were harmed in its manufacture which is still great. I just take the viewpoint we do not live in a perfect world and absolutes are very difficult to achieve no one can claim 100% they are not eating animals that's pretty much impossible.
Why just lamb, out of curiosity? Because they're cute? Fatty? Just the taste? Another reason?
MeestairChrees I used to pass a cattle market on the way to work and they looked such innocent creatures and I just felt really guilty so stopped eating lamb with the intention of later stopping eating other meat but that never happened but I always stopped knowingly eating lamb. I can't say I've missed it. It is still my intention to stop eating red meat and then stop poultry and fish. I reckon there is a chance I'll stop red meat this year it just seems to be getting easier and easier to stop eating meat.
BonzoBanana I have to not think of meat as animals. I know it is, but I don't want to imagine a cute lamb on my plate. Lamb is probably my favourite meat but I get what you mean.
As a veggie it infuriates me, but it took me years to trust McDonald's, over 10 years Id say. I still would never eat in KFC. I rarely eat at Burger King think I've been once in about 5 years there are better places to eat
