Is There a Way to Block Certain Members?

Is Is there a way to block certain members so I don't see their posts and they don't see mine?
Thanks!

I wish there was. I and a female member of this have been accused of being man and wife by one troll.
Let me put the record straight - I have no connection with any other member of this group. I can't answer for her but I doubt she has either.
To the best of my knowledge that thread has been removed.
I didn't put in a formal complaint about the harassment we've both been subjected to - but if she did I hope it does some good.

Don’t be put off – these things get resolved pretty quickly once complaints are made. Either by the thread being locked to further comments, the thread being removed altogether, or by banning repeat offenders from Latest Deals.
Latest Deals and many of its contributors work really hard to maintain a friendly environment. In my view that’s a key differentiator from other deal sites which helps to make Latest Deals fun and pleasant to use.
Recently there’s been quite a lot of ‘spammy’ posts in the Chat area, and statements made that are very clearly untrue. Where there appears to be no purpose to the chat post other than the user attempting to earn points by making a (useless) comment, it becomes very boring for the wider community.
The Latest Deals Guidelines are clear on this issue. See below.
Points
Rewarding points and Amazon vouchers is our way of giving back to the community. However, any attempted manipulation of your points score, for example, by spamming the site with useless comments, may result in a permanent ban and the loss of any points.

Johnny Thanks for your reply: I'm wondering if: " However, any attempted manipulation of your points score, for example, by spamming the site with useless comments, may result in a permanent ban and the loss of any points" copying questions from elsewhere and putting them on this site (which gains points) also counts as manipulation of points score. (not just copyright infringement and plagiarism)
I think a few of us have noticed that happening a few times in the past week. The perpetrator doesn't even realise (or care) that it could result in problems for this site if the site they have been taken from was to take action.

You can mute a member and it means you don't see their posts and they can't reply to your comments. Not sure if they can still see your posts though.

Not sure that I have ever had to mute anyone thus far. Although the Mods and the Team try to keep an eye out for anything naughty, folk will be folk and who knows why people do silly, upsetting things. If anything gets out of hand, I always revert back to Tom or Kelsey who are on hand to nip things in the bud. Speaking out is always the best course of action. Xx

I tried that it did take me to a blank page - but eventually I found this - just hoping the link works (if not I'll delete this)https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/chat/ignore-someone
