anything good about blue Monday? Any good deals all I have been hearing all day is blue Monday not really seeing the good of it compared to Black Friday
As fas as I know it's called blue monday because it is meant to be the saddest day of the year. Don't think it is something that companies really buy into, although I have seen a few blue monday competitions.
It's only the saddest day off the year because a marketer decided it was, so they could sell us stuff to make us happier!

My university library gave out free teas and coffees, biscuits and fruit today for blue Monday!

Just thinking about this, there should be good shopping deals on to cheer people up. I saw lots of competitions on Facebook though
A travel company apparently used an equation to work out which was the most depressing day of the year in the hope of pushing a marketing deal out. It's the 3rd Monday of the new year, when it is cold and people are counting down the seconds to pay day and the start of a new working week for most, hence apparently being the saddest day.
