Anns so does the app bring discounted price up like a notification plz

Mctash the app don’t tell you when things get reduced the idea of app is when instore you can scan barcodes and if the shelf says for example 9.99 but app says £1 that’s what you will pay at till, not all barcodes are the same some will bring up full price because it’s new stock.

Ann1984 Very late to the party! When you say app.. i assume its a B&M app I download from the app store which has this scanning facility?

MsLamboLova12 yeah you scan barcode on item not the shelf sticker. It will need internet access to work

Tom I have found that if you become friendly with staff they help you toys get reduced on a Friday

Dennab I can’t walk past without going in best thing they ever invented was the scanner

They can go back up at later date but usually stay longer than a day

lynneh it’s all to do with barcodes with bm for example the 2 for 20 toys that is same every year and summer toys they then eventually reduce to £4 each then come October same toys are back out but different barcodes

lynneh a tip look for tatty boxes normally old stock and sometimes can be as little as 50p. If scanner says item not found it can mean too things it’s 10p or new item full price. I have seen people have garden furniture for as little as £1

pato nome in my local today but had girls pjs £1 grabbed 7 pairs

bathroom caddy storage £1 got 2

for neighbours

them speakers are really old stock I remember buyer about 4 years ago paid £20 I believe for Xmas presen.

alot of stores are having a clear out of store room so a lot of bargains to be had if any local.

our local Sainsbury’s when can start selling clothes from Monday have said have stock from 2014 so all coming from store room I think more stores will follow

Ann1984 I remember the speakers you're talking about, I got them too, these ones are a different model, it's worth taking another look.

pato will ask manager what’s in stock room I have said before everyone let loose again any bargains put under till for me and grab me lol. A lot of people hide stock under shelves so always worth looking I have been on hands and knees before and it pays off always with Xmas stock. I was shown a fb post today where a woman literally cleared the shop 25 roller blinds a pound karaoke system £1 bedding steamers. I won’t do that mind I only get if I needed or knew someone who needed 10p blankets I have donated to vets and kennels

Ann1984 The facebook groups are one of the reasons the deals run out, too many greedy feckers cleaning them out, I'll need to check for roller blinds

pato they are greedy mind it’s shocking. Good luck finding blinds curtain holders 50p too been that price few weeks now plenty left in mine today

Ann1984 I don't know if you noticed any linx sets "Black" for men and can't remember the name of the womens one but they were down to £1 a set

pato our store was cleared of Xmas Linx sets in early November and toys they had a really good Xmas period with Xmas stock. Only the odd few chocolates were left in December they put their January sale stuff out which that was selling faster then normal too

pato fab thank you app updates at 3am so I has a browse having a cuppa in morning because certain days for price reduction. It’s not normally cleared of Xmas stock but this year with people staying local donations of toys etc. Was cleared but it is also handy getting to know staff
