Boyfriends/Girlfriends Being Separated Right Now

Other

It occurred to me today that a lot of couples are probably not very happy about being separated from the object of their affections right now. Especially if they still live with mum and dad, which can mean teen up to over 30.

Anyone on here suffering?

What do you think of this?

I reckon there are also a lot of couples that are going to suffer by having to spend all day together! They are going to get annoyed with each other because most people aren't used to being stuck inside all day and not with the same person all the time. I've heard people say that the divorce rate is going to rocket!

Lynibis my husbands granny lives on her own. She is going on fb every night so she can video call us and call her daughter. She has lots of ebooks, emagazines, boxsets etc but I'm worried about her getting lonely.

MrsCraig I don't think anything could induce me to join fb again, it's bad enough on here occasionally! I have ebooks and box sets too but I can see me missing face to face chats. Still that's minor to what some people will suffer.

Lynibis fb isn't for everyone. I would rather endure a bit of boredom than go through what I'm seeing on the news.

My daughter moved out of her Dads and in with her boyfriend of 2 years and his parents 3 weeks ago as it was closer to hospital for her now odd shifts and less time on public transport. I'm grateful that they all agreed that she could stay.

Really - well thank yourself lucky its not as great as its made out to be - men and women were never meant to be permanently hitched thats my view after many relationships and why I never got married its the end of the road the ring on the finger - Not for everyone of course but most people I know get bored with the same person or sex with the same personm is just not exciting anymore or ever was!

The number of my old mates who say they wish they were like me is quite surprising I always thought most of them were happy but i have learned over the years that things arent always what people paint them to be RC90!

So dont be unhappy about it - it is nice to have someone to chat to at night in front of the teev though i understand that but hey YOU HAVE ME to chat to and keep your spirits up I am always happy 24/7 nothing gets me down these days I just laugh at disaster and poke the eye of fate and jump up and down on fear (sorry I am a bit of a Blackadder fan)!

Being nhs I night have to move out of my home soon, leave our LG with my husband and spend the next few months in accommodation so I don’t infect them. That’s far more scary for me

I miss my partner loads during this time but we make it by facetiming and phoning each other often.

I think a little time apart gives you time to reflect on your relationships and can sometimes make you realise how precious your partner is. It is easy to take someone for granted so it can improve relationships but..............there is always the other side of that!
