Brand New Headset Not Working
Ask a Question
My son has bought 2 controllers thinking they what’s causing headset to not work in chat. So returned and purchased new headset instead nope that don’t work either I don’t won’t to send that back incase Amazon blokes my account.
Any gamers had same issues on Xbox s not the new series s. He has wasted £50 quid when he was saving for the series s when comes in stock. We have looked for advice on forums getting no where
If you're on Amazon Prime go on the contact us and ask for a call back. Explain to them the issue and they'll sort it. If you're not Google amazons heads email which was oh gosh bozo? Even if he's not now email him and it will get passed on to the head teams and they will sort it.
I don't see why they would block you just for sending something back unless you send a lot back
have you checked the setting on the controller to make sure that the sound is actually on, if none of the controllers seem to be working that could be the issue.
Imnotcheap sometimes it is and always a bonus when it is as it saves a few quid, I find it strange that 3 controllers are having the same outcome, so would be checking that out first.
Ann1984 that sounds too complicated, you should check to make sure that the mic is activated on settings
1) Press the Xbox button on your controller.
2) Select Settings and All Settings.
3) Select Account and then Privacy & online safety.
4) Select View details & customize.
5) Select Communicate with voice and text and then select who you want to talk to (usually your friends or everybody).
Ann1984 To assign an account to a controller, follow these steps:
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Settings.
Select All Settings.
Under Kinect & devices, select Devices & accessories.
Select the controller. The current account assigned to that controller is indicated.
To assign the controller to another account, select the account currently assigned to it.
Select Assign to someone.
Select the account that you want to assign to the controller.
This will pair the controller to this account.
If you use multiple controllers, you can tell which user is assigned to a specific controller when they can control what's happening on the screen. There are no LED indicators on the controller or console as with the Xbox 360 because with Xbox One, you can have up to eight controllers connected at one time.
