Breakfast and Family

Ask a Question

Do people still sit around a table in the morning and eat breakfast?

I am lucky if we get out of the house on time. But I would like to all sit down for breakfast but everyone gets up at different times.

We always sit together for dinner, but if we're having a cooked breakfast it's a case of bums in seats or the dogs get it

Weekends are mostly family time at the table for breakfas. my other half cooks each Of our kids what they want for breakfast and we all sit aro the table together. not so much in the week as their nanny takes them to school most days.

5/7 days a week we all sit around the table for our evening meal.

Only on the odd Sunday that we have a full breakfast. It's rare we even sit down together for dinner as we are hardly all in together at the same time.

You should sit down, if only so you aren't going to spill it lol. The act of sitting down together means communication and that's the main message really in this world of isolation.

Wake up at different times, eat at different times (if at all) and leave at different times, so no.

Oh, unless it's a weekend, then usually, yes. But not always - depends what's going on that day I guess!

Sometimes on a weekend we do but mornings are hectic so often me and my partner grab a cereal bar or fruit on the way out the door. We always sit together for dinner.

Every morning I sit at the dining table for breakfast, I am first joined by my son who then goes to work, then my daughter joins me and depending on day and time my husband joins us. I usually stay here for at least two hours.

Never been able to wake up and have breakfast together as we leave the house at different times. Dinner on the other hand is something we do have together unless someone is working late or has other dinner plans. I do think it’s important to eat together 😊
