Breakfast
Ask a Question
What do you usually eat for breakfast? I usually eat milk and biscuits or cereals with milk but I’ve seen a lot of English people having a really heavy breakfast. What do you usually eat for breakfast?
Coffee and bananas. Sometimes porridge. Mostly nothing as I am running around late. I know I should do better!
Coffee first then a couple of hours later a small portion of Dorset cereals with a couple of chopped dates. I can’t face eating first thing. In fact today I didn’t have breakfast till 11:30 even though I was up at 7 am.
There is an English saying: Eat breakfast like a King, lunch like a Prince and dinner like a pauper.
It is considered healthier to eat the larger meal in the morning....breakfast......breaking your fast of the night. Plus you are working it off during the day.
Historically the main (heavier) meal was around noon with a lighter evening meal...supper.
Personally I have raw porridge oats mixed with a probiotic yoghurt, occasionally toast and marmalade!
About 4 cups of coffee and then either weetabix or a banana. I used to love eggs but since i had my daughter they make me ill
I used to never eat breakfast but recently started to eat cereal. At weekends I have a cooked breakfast, and at hotels I eat silly amounts!
I have gone even more super healthy by switching to gluten and dairy-free diet (g&df). Breakfast is generally a bowl of granola with yoghurt. Sometimes I add fruit too.
I have been super impressed with how many products are accommodating g&df products into their ranges. It makes it so much easier when shopping.
I eat a cold meat or cheese and salad butties but not before 11am, can't face food until then so drink lots of coffee
For the last few months ive had honey cheerios everyday before that i had pancakes or waffles, before that i went through a stage of fruit & fibre. I have food obsessions and will eat the same for a while and then change to something else.
During uni days I have corn flakes, or porridge or sometimes overnight oats with raisins and fruits. During holiday season I have whatever my others are having like full English breakfast.
Usually have porridge and make sure banana topping this gets me through to lunch time. being British it is only really at the weekend or on holiday where we have full English breakfasts otherwise is far to much
I rarely have breakfast. But when I do, I just like to have Weetabix with some fruit such as grapes and/or blueberries along with a yogurt.
Usually overnight oats with fresh fruit as I'm trying to lose weight, 2st gone almost now.
Lots of tea, whether I'm working or at home. Sometimes cereal or porridge, other times it will be hard boiled eggs
For me breakfast is around 10am that's if I have breakfast that day. Most days I don't as I can't really eat first thing in the morning. Otherwise water or hot chocolate with a piece of flapjack.
I have crohns disease so it literally is a day by day decision. My main go to though is a banana or some biscuits
