I'm with Vodafone now - no problems (that doesn't necessarily mean they're the best). I pay just over £23 a month and usually get a speed averaging about 50mbps.

I moved from TalkTalk at the first opportunity after the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I had to pay over £500 when they wouldn't let me leave the contract that was not as promised - towards the end I also had real problems getting the code that allowed me to take my mobile number with me. (Legally they can't refuse to give the code - but they tried).

AlexandraPuca I hope all goes well, the only slight problem I had was sorted out very quickly and easily. It's difficult to form any opinion until something has not been right and how quickly it's been sorted out. But I can't fault Vodafone (and hope it stays that way 😀 )

We are with BT, I know it’s more expensive than some but we have a great speed in comparison with some of friends and rarely have any issues. The whole area crashed once last year but was soon repaired.

I’m with a company called pop telecom and it’s reasonably priced and works quite well

I'm currently with Plusnet but certainly won't be once this contract has run out, I don't find their customer service helpful either and we have intermittent internet.

HEDGEHOGS interesting ...I clicked through to recommend PlusNet BECAUSE of their good UK based customer service. Admittedly I just had an issue with mobile coverage and that was a pain as I was being bounced between EE, BT and PlusNet, but they always replied ...by email, TWITTER and phone which is what I expect and that's why we left BT.

I'm with BT , I find the Broadband reliable and speeds ok , but they can be expensive if you don't get a deal from them and their customer service like many companies is useless fortunately don't have many issues, so don't need to contact them often

Mango4 we left BT and went to PlusNet for their UK based customer services (plus cheaper)...after I got so fed up trying to explain to India what it was like where we then lived in Cumbria...up a farm track surrounded by fields ...they seemed to think everyone lived in a large city.

I think this has a lot of good tips on what to look out for, particularly about checking your coverage as your location and proximity to the cabinet will make a difference

Currently with sky for another week or so, speed and reliability fine and does what it suggests. In the 3 years or so had it go down a handful of times but not for any long length of time. Previously had virgin and they went down a few more times during my time with them but again for the most part good. I have had the displeasure of dealing with talk talk on behalf of a family member well 2 family's ! Would never touch them myself.

I'm currently with TalkTalk and I have been for quite a while. I've encountered a few issues with them but always figured that for the price I paid it was reasonable. It does seem that they are getting worse lately though and as soon as my contract is up I'll be moving on. I'm thinking of switching to be BT. As mentioned not the cheapest but I wouldn't mind paying more for reliability.

I've been with talk talk for around seven years and had no problem with them. Now I've said that, it will probably go wrong tomorrow. 🤣
