Hi everyone,
Welcome to LatestDeals.co.uk 
I'm Tom (or Kelsey - having two Toms in the team is far too confusing!) and I'm responsible for the geeky side of LD. The site is brand new and, whilst I've made every effort to make it as bug free as possible, I've no doubt you'll uncover weird and wonderful "features".
If you do find something behaving oddly then just give me a shout in here and I'll do my best to get it sorted as soon as possible.
If, on the other hand, you're craving a feature that doesn't yet exist (notification alerts, anyone?) then head on over to the "Feature requests" topic that Tom made.

Hi george, you can expire your post by hovering over the three vertical dots on the deal page and choosing edit. If you need to change the link just @tag me in a post and I'll come running! 
Kelsey hi, this doesn't appear to delete though, just labels it as expired. I would like to be able to delete completely as the other day someone kindly told me I was still logged in on a comp I posted. Expiring means people can still get into it and they have access to private details. My fault entirely but easily done.
Just flagging this in case you haven't spotted it already.
When sharing a deal I'm getting the "oops something went wrong" pop up, but upon opening the site in a new tab I can see that the deal has gone live minus the picture.
Hi Bestoffer you can get to the dashboard and notifications via the dropdown menu that comes up when you hover over your avatar in the top right hand corner. That said, if you're using the Edge browser there's an unfortunate bug where it doesn't always come up at the moment (a bug I intend to exterminate today ) so, in the meantime, you can access them here:
TomKelsey Morning Tom, Hope you're well. Last night I posted a deal (via phone as my laptop has officially now been cremated 
) and the description section is just very tedious to input.
- at times back space is not possible
- when typing a word and then adding space, doesn't add a space but joins the previous 2 words together
- Got to the end sentence and couldn't backspace, screen was stuck, couldn't type anything at all, so performed a cut and paste which then allowed me to type further.

Thanks for the heads up! I put a few fixes live yesterday and I intend to do a few more tweaks today to hopefully resolve the problems you were having with sharing deals on your mobile. If by the end of the day it is still all going wrong please shout and I'll reinvestigate!
Notifications - when someone replies to you, not seeing a notification alert. Would be nice to see them pop up when you log in 
Threads with an expiration date seem to be ending a bit prematurely. Instead of ending at 23:59 or 00:00 they're ending at 00:01

Morning Bash thanks for the heads up. At the moment LD only allows for specific Amazon products to be shared (because that's all we can accurately track against) but it is in the pipeline to allow any Amazon page to be shared with the caveat that it won't necessarily track properly. Current plan is to plough through a lot of bugs today - if they get sorted quickly I'll try and look at this too

This should be fixed now - the websites will no longer mistake us as being Irish!

There's a bug with the chat section. If you click on to page 2 you can't get it to change back unless you manually do it with the address bar.
Also check out the chat page on the Firefox browser. It's over to the left instead of being centered.
Text entry seems a bit weird today, with a box that you type into. Seems to make editing what you've written (on the fly) very difficult.
Kelsey, possible bug for you, Woohoo!
If you have selected the categories you want to see and then change over to the chat section, the boxes are unchecked when you return back to the deals.

In the chat section it often days a comment was shared βa few seconds agoβ . That seems a bit odd when some of the comments are several days old. A bug?
Hello Kelsey, there seems to be a problem with editing. I've tried to edit 3 different posts of mine and they've all come up with validation failed.

The site is behaving weirdly. Apart from the deals section, nothing is showing up on either browsers that I've tested.
Are you still having problems with this? All seems fine this end but then it often does so that doesn't mean there isn't a problem somewhere!
It was fine a few minutes after I had commented earlier. I did clear my cookies and log back in but it was still happening. I just thought you had quickly fixed it. If it does happen again I'll let you know.

I've been trying to comment on my mobile (iphone6) but the comment box is hidden behind my keyboard rather than moving above it, so I can't see what I'm typing. Not sure if it's a problem with my phone?

Hi SuperLuckyDi I've made a few changes to hopefully improve things on iPhones. Please let me know if it's any better/worse/the same!
