Would You Buy This £820 jumper???...
Ask a Question
I know fashion can be crazy and anything you can think of... but this... especially the price tag - £820 full price for few strands of wool?!... for that price you could order from experienced knitter to knit several beautiful real wool quality jumpers... what do you think of it? or is it just me who thinks its ridiculous?... I'll attach photo in comments...
lcook90 I think in that case you might need two of themone to clean and one to polish...
I could quite easily get a jumper from Primark, grab myself a pair of scissors and create any pattern I want. x
RegularComper90 or even from a charity shop to reduce the carbon footprint you would save yourself several hundred...x
Who knows someone daft enough to think it ever was £820 might be daft enough to think that buying it at £410 (half the price) is a bargain.
There'll no doubt not to be enough to meet demand when they get to "90% OFF" and they're only £82.
davidstockport probably customers can't get enough of it already ... I seen ripped jeans to extreme, new jumpers with holes...but this beats everything
BlueOrchid I've never understood the mentality of people who buy ripped jeans, if they actually wanted ripped jeans why can't they buy unripped jeans and rip them themselves? Or even team up with someone who wouldn't be seen dead in them
davidstockport I don't mind ripped jeans to a point. There are some which looks quite nice...but there is ripped jeans and "the emperor is naked" type jeans like these.. only $200...!!!and it actually was sold out at some point?!
Wow!! That is not very nice considering the price tag! The price of fashion is shocking, there is no way I would spend this much on a jumper even if looked nice!
AliceBell64468 I get that it's original and all that... but the amount of work plus wool even if its the best expensive wool works out for about £50 tops... and as an item of clothing it doesnt serve any function apart from looking different
I refuse to spend more than £20 on a jumper so I definitely wouldn't pay that, I think it is a horrible jumper, I think they have a cheek to call it a jumper!
MrsCraig its basically cuffs and 10 strings of wooland voila you made a jumperI'm all for being different and original but you dont always have to try to reinvent the bike...I could see it in a theater etc but definitely not for daily use
BlueOrchid it's what it would look like if I attempted to knit a jumper! Besides jumpers are meant to keep you warm, you would be freezing in that thing!
Bossclaz you can get matching cardigan too... as they say "if you got it - flaunt it"...or something along the lines of
seasider71 it specialises in designer clothing only I never heard of this designer before I like to keep my purse with money in it so as great as this deal is I wont be purchasing it
Mick82 the "wool strings' as this jumper should be called probably cost more than £1
I think spending that much on any item of clothing is ridiculous- it’s all about labels. and status. Never have understood it myself
BusySparrowMum I do get it sometimes... when I used to work in a pub black primark shoes would wear in weeks and I would have to buy next pair... so I started buying better quality more expensive shoes or black sturdy trainers like "adidas" and it lasted months. Sometimes if theres quality I dont mind paying more within reason
BlueOrchid I get that, and despite what I said I do wear ‘labels’ ... right now I have a superdry hoodie on but because I like the quality and kids trainers are usually Adidas or Nike that I get in the sale because as you say they last longer.
But the jumper in question ... it wouldn’t even keep you warm
BusySparrowMum probably it's the whole pointto flaunt ones toned abs and tattoos they might aswell wear nothing instead
Anyone who would consider spending that amount of money on that ugly piece of material needs to give their head a wobble.
blacklabrador I think it's the case of DIY ...buy it and then finish it yourself
That’s ridiculous! Mind you, I know it’s trendy to get items that look worn out rather than brand new - a friend of mine paid £200 for Diesel jeans with rips across the knees! Crazy
hspexy you can offer him some trendy trainers... which looks like a toddler played with glue gun... and only over £1,000...bargain these trainers beats even jumper for me...
hspexy well it actually has slazenger lookso buy a cheap pair have a go with a glue gun and you'll save him a grand!!! and you'll get bonus points for being good mate
I wouldn't even pay a pound for that jumper let alone that price. The worst fashion craze was last year where there was models walking down the catwalk with bags the size of a barbie assessory, you wouldn't even be able to fit a piece of gum in there
Imnotcheap That's so true! Sometimes I wonder what the fashion industry is thinking making these crazy products for ridiculous prices
this is comparable to the standard sized candle that Harrods used to sell that was £1300.. for something you burn... literally burning money
I can get a whole new wardrobe full of clothes including shoes, jewellery, underwear and pyjamas and makeup to last a full year for less than £820.
That won't keep you very warm on colder days Maybe if I had a £1,000+ T-shirt to wear underneath.
BlueOrchid I think it may work better with £600 grass-stained Gucci jeans - https://www.heart.co.uk/lifestyle/gucci-grass-stained-jeans/
ACR obviously you cant beat Gucci .... I'll ask my son to wear my jeans while he rolls over on the grass in the parkhe's a pro at this look and it's a pain to scrub it out usually now I'll just leave it on
I think even if I knitted it (with my bad knitting) mine would be better and cheaper than that!
juliebuckley64 oh I'm Sure someone did and paid full price too...it could be useful as a belt maybe?
