There will be no face-to-face lectures at the University of Cambridge over the course of the next academic year due to coronavirus, it has been announced.
I suppose at uni level education, depending on the subjects, that’s acceptable. I too skipped a lot of live lessons and just went by the online notes that were available to do the dissertations. But I can imagine that some students may want to get some of their tuition fees back if they do not feel they’re getting value for money
For those that haven't started yet it may be worth taking a gap year / getting some work experience. I wonder what overseas and many UK students will do about accommodation. Seems a bit pointless travelling/staying in Cambridge if there are no face-to-face lectures. When social distancing measures are implemented going to the library is going to be a bit of a nightmare. It'll also be interesting to see what the rowers will do about Boat Race training.
