Do You Go Camping?
Ask a Question
Does camping fill you with dread or are you a happy camper? What’s the best thing about camping and what’s the worse?
I have been camping a few times in my life. I once did a ghost camping tour where I stayed in haunted locations. It was very spooky but I loved how we all sat around the campfire telling stories and eating roasted marshmallows at night. The worst part about camping would be the toilet facilities. And once my friend woke up next to me with this thing dangling from her ear. I thought it was an earring at first but it was actually an earwig
I'm not a fan.I went a few times when I was a kid and hated it.Give me a hotel with all its facilities anyday.
I love camping; I went to the Forest of Dean with my girlfriend and two of our friends last year; the worst part about it was the toilet facilities, but apart from that - we had a great time.
I think it is only enjoyable when it is nice weather so you can enjoy bbqs and not have to pack away the tent in the rain and wind!
Camping is a big NO NO. Did this as a kid (only way to afford a holiday) and memories are not good, stubble fields, no loo, tooth abscess, coming home early because Nana was ill, to find out it was because my friend, who was with us, her Dad had died (we were 10). Did try again with the kids but the experience had not improved
Camping can be fun if have the weather just don't come to Wales it's rains 5 out of 7 days
I'm not a fan.
On holidays, some people like to get back to nature, I like to get back to the hotel.
The idea of camping fills me with dread. Hubby wants to with kids. Half of my kids would hate it the other half may try not sure though. I like my bed too much.
Nope id rarher have a clean warm hotel bed and an actual tolet to go yo instead of having to find a bush xD
Only time I used a tent was for festivals 20 years ago. I love nature but wouldn't be comfortable in a tent at night time somewhere lost in the forest lol. creepy
I know camping as come along in terms of equipment and you can now go glamping but it's not for me I like my home comforts too much. Running water is an essential in my book, CentrePacs is the nearest I get to the camping experience
Nope haven’t been since I was a little kid. I think I’ve grown out of it now. I’d rather go glamping
Never done it although if I do, I'd rather have a group of people around with me. You never know what happens in the woods.
