What .Can I Get for My Friends That Have Just Done up a Church to Live In

Can any one help me with a gift that I want to get for my friends who has just done up a church to live in. I would like to get them some thing diffrant from the normal gifts that you get for new home. Thank you for your help.

nicolajaynehend I'm considering getting those for a friend who's getting married later on this year as a something different than the norm things people buy. Maybe something else with it 2 but haven't thought of what 2 get yet

Could you find out a history of the church? Like when it was first built, when the first and last service was held, newspaper articles in which it is mentioned or an advert for a Christmas or easter service, old photographs etc and put it in a frame? Would be something unique to hang in their living room.

i know its a small present , but most churchs had postcards made , some antique early ones can be found on ebay
also on ebay , maybe find an old black and white photo of church and get it framed

A couple of wall sconces and pillar candles to go on them would fit in with a church theme. Unless of course they have gone modern.

you may also consider an antique wooden Hymns board , normally with nice old font , could be used as a note board , or a wooden collection box , if they are the type to save coins up again try ebay
