Cancer

I haven't had but my dad had prostate cancer and I looked after him till the end. He had radiotherapy and chemo. He had a hormone implant. Lots of long stays in the hospital and ultimately a hospice.

My mum had breast cancer. She had her breast removed. Then she started chemo that made her very poorly. Then she had radiotherapy. That made her very poorly. Then she went back for a check up. They find it in the other breast. And she had to go through it all over again. She had long stays in hospital. I stayed in a b&b. So she would not be on her own. I never left my mum in the whole 2years that she was frighting it. But in the end she could not go on any more. She then passed away. I was with her right up UNTILL the end. It's been 13 years now this August. And it's still very raw. I will never get over it. She was so young only 59 years old. I don't think you ever to get over it. But it dos heal in time.

My dad had cancer and had several different operations and chemo none of which worked. All the treatments made his last 18 months a living hell. He said near the end that he wished he‘d not had any of them and had less time with a better quality of life. That is the path I would choose if i ever became ill.

My hubby has n hes a member on here . Could i ask why ur wanting to chat n enquiring ? Hace u had some bad news ? Hubby had throat cancer x hope ur ok if u want him to chat give me nod on this post xx
