Can’t sleep.... any suggestions ?? I’ve just finished the latest book I’ve been reading so I’ve been led in the dark trying to drift off !
have a hot bath before you go to bed and put some lavender oil in it. have chamomile tea and watch all the footage on Brexit you will certainly sleep after that
If this is a reoccurring problem I have heard those himalayan salt lamps are supposed to be great for helping you nod off. LUSH also have a pot of smelly stuff that you put in your room which helps you sleep too, heard great stuff about that too hope this helps x
I think first of all the same advice as for kids, i.e. no screens before bed lol. The other really important one is no caffeine after noon as it can stay in your body up to 12 hours. Reading is guaranteed to send me off after only half an hour and I get cross as I want to read more but can't keep eyes open! Yesterday I was reading for over 5 hours (explained in my thread further down in courtesy rides while at garage) and had to keep stopping and waking myself up as my body seems conditioned to reading = sleep.
Nice cup of chamomile tea to relax before bed. I imagine I'm in a boat on a river and it seems to help.
I'm the same but me and my partner are on 24 hour watch with our son due to his disability and when it my timer to sleep I struggle to get off and only end up sleeping around 4 hours
