Cant Wait for Longer Days

I'm fed up of it getting dark about four o'clock, I can't wait for Spring. I
hoping that lockdown will finish in time for the nicer weather. Starting to get a little stir crazy. I
What are you looking forward to ?
I am in total agreement . I really do get depressed at the end of autumn when the clocks go back an hour and we know it is dark at 5pm . I don't normally spend the amount of hours I did in the garden last year but with the circumstances we found ourselves in we need an outlet . For this year we have already started and cannot wait to have those wonderful family days eating our freshly grown veg . In a dream world I would love to be looking forward to our Merlin days going up and down the country and having a whale of a time and also planning our holiday to Orlando which we was due to have last November .1 thing I would say to each and every person here it would be to stay safe and look forward to hopefully a better life .
I'm looking forward to being able to go in garden for longer but right now enjoying the school holidays. 
I may come across as being a bit of a pessimist, but don't be too surprised about us having the coldest and wettest Spring on record, seeing as that is when we come out of lockdown.
You don't come across as being a pessimist, in fact you sound more like an optimist when you say we come out of lockdown in Spring.
davidstockport I believe that we will at some point during the Spring. But it will be a gradual process though. 
They are here ! and every day that passes we get about 3 more minutes of daylight .
beccatavender That's correct you should, next month, notice an hour more daylight (at the end of day - but an hour less at start) unfortunately the longer days you want (as OP) will not come about - in fact one of them, Sunday 28th March, will only be 23 hours long.
Perhaps I should mention the hour less at the start of the day won't bother me - I don't get up that early.
I agree with you ... I'm itching to get outside to weed, repair wind damage etc and prepare to sow seeds etc etc .... It'll soon be Spring though ... so stay positive
Me too. Canβt wait. Hoping for a miracle. Best hottest summer yet, with corona completely gone and being able to enjoy the weather with family and friends. Hereβs to dreaming
