Anyone fit their own carpet just about to do it hope it's not one of these things that looks easier than it is
My husband always fits our carpets and does a very good job. My husband does all the diy in house and always has done, saved us a fortune.
Its very hard but i fitted my 3 upstairs myself and just had them in to fit the downstairs one. They wanted nearly £200 a room!
A simple square/rectangle room is easy, the hardest bit is cutting around objects. Weve just had new carpets all upstairs, lino in the bathroom and toilet and weve got the living room carpet ready to lay once weve painted. I get my mother to help because she has done it for years. We also do all our own diy. Save ourselves a fortune.
