I still like to carry some cash but use my cards in supermarkets and department stores. I also check my credit card bills and god help my husband if he hasn’t kept a receipt!

In the countryside and the likes you'll still need to have cash if you want to eat, sleep or fill up the car.

But yes, cards are more convenient.

I rarely carry cash any more. It doesn't bother me.

With so many High Street banks being closed around the country it seems we are all forced to be cashless. Sad but necessary. 😔 Cash always meant that you could offer a 'deal'. Those days have gone!

Glad I’m not the only one! I often find myself avoiding particular places for this reason as I never have cash 😆

Mummy18 i had the stress of trying to park last week, no car parks were free, so had to use street parking, bit machine only took cash, which i didn't have

Tried the pay by phone but it didn't like my card number. I could have screamed haha

I usually carry some cash just in case, but I rarely use cash - it’s cards for everything for me. Which sometimes I think it’s a shame, as the skills I’ve learned handling cash are redundant

I usually pay by debit card. I find contactless payment is really convenient. There are also a number of shops in my area that don't accept cash.

I always have a couple notes on me but usually use debit card on a day to day basis but i only use cash on an evening out & tend to leave cards at home. Mainly so I can stick to budget. One too many times after a few drinks & getting in the 'mood' iv over spent & regretted it the next day.
