Do You Celebrate Valentine's Day?
Ask a Question
Just curious, do you celebrate it? What would you usually do? My other half and I have been together for 14 years so we just get a card for each other. We have been known to go for a meal but that combines my February birthday too.
We don't celebrate Valentines day. We have been together for 8 and a half years and married for 5 and a half. We celebrated our first valentines together and the first one after we got married but we don't bother now. We don't even buy each other cards. My husband will cook us dinner, but he does that every night anyway.
No plus what is getting me that you can buy valentines in shops but not kids underwear or clothes. We don’t need to spend money to say I love you
Nope been married too long now. Cooking meals for each other is something we do regularly as well as trying to watch movies together. Will be a normal day for us
Well, as singletons are excluded from this special day...no....I don't celebrate it. In fact I don't give it a second thought as it is purely a money making scheme. Love is year long, not one day in a year.
We celebrate the 14th of Feb, as it is our dog’s birthday he will be 6 this year. Sometimes a card and some chocs for valentines but never been a big deal for us
We MAKE each other a card which is very funny because they look like something from nursery but they are unique. I couldn't possibly post pictures.
Ann1984 Yep, we can have a good chat next Sunday, but there won't be any pics, this is a family site
Ann1984 I expect there would be lots of flowers, hearts, chocolate, wine and kisses if we were normal, but we're not
Was hoping to celebrate this year but unfortunately with the pandemic and my partner working we have decided to wait until better times to celebrate
We don’t celebrate it. I’m going to cook something nice and Iv told the other half to supply the alcohol . I makes cakes etc for a living and I’m fully booked so a lot of people still celebrate x
