I also do not understand, how the salad dressing becomes sandwich spread. Is it should be 2 different texture ad 2 different products?

Why? Because so few people use in on salads compared to those who use it in sandwiches these days.

It should contain something> like veg or fish or meat...like other sandwich creams without that it is just a flavored spread
