Channel 5 App Problems

I’ve been trying for ages to sort out the channel 5 app on my iPad... it keeps freezing throwing me off turning my iPad off. I’ve contacted support I’ve switch iPad off and on reloaded the app looked for updates.... now I admit defeat !!!! I only wanted to know what happened on neighbours on Friday !!!!
