Charity Cake Sale - Top Sellers and Pricing?

Ask a Question

Any one have any ideas on which cakes and bakes would be the best to sell at a charity bake sale? Also what pricing would you be expecting to pay?

Not my favourite at all, yet at the cake sales I have been too the chocolate ones seems to disappear first. If you are doing small bun type cakes then 50p a throw might be ok. If you are going down the big slices of larger cakes then a couple of quid might be ok. Depends where you are in the country and the type of event I suppose. Also people may be inclined to buy a nice big slice at a price if a low cost cuppa came with it and there was a place to sit down and enjoy it.

I would do cupcakes chocolate and vanilla with a different ice frosting on the top for children and maybe do big cakes and sell them in slices for the adults.
