Does anybody nose in the charity shops after christmas to pick up someone else’s unwanted gifts?
Today i I went into my local acorns and picked up 3 different candles and a body butter gift set for the grand total of £3.50!
There is a charity shop opposite where I work and for the last 2 days it's been soooooooo busy with people dropping off boxes and boxes of stuff.
Wish I had the time for a good old nose around but I expect the good stuff will be gone by the time I find an opportunity to go!
Yes I do, but from New Years onwards as a lot of people have yet to return from their break, or they’re too tired to sort everything else out. Usually people make New Years resolutions to declutter and have a spring clean, so I find it’s the best time to go rummaging!
I totally love having a good rummage and have found some great bargains over the years- monsoon dress for 7 quid and next jacket for 6 quid
I love charity shop cause you really dont know what you going to find and makes me excited
This is my find yesterday for 22 piece set it wad like for £2,50
Yes I always have a look in the charity shops as there’s always some bargains to be found I have even found designer clothing at cheep prices
Always enjoy looking in charity shops I suppose partly because its a surprise what you will find. Most of the time I don't find anything of interest though. Favourite type of charity shop is the stock it high sell it cheap type not the type with illusions of grandeur trying to sell at fairly high prices, the stock in those shops hardly ever moves so its often not worth visiting those very frequently.
Always find local charity shops the best and not the big national 1's that ask silly prices at times. Buy most of my furniture at a charity shop. Latest buy was a mango wood coffee table for £5, it's new cost was circa £150.
I love charity shops especially for the kids. The kids always find some treasure. Good for clothing to as it's not worn for long . Before they grow.
