looking for good low cost birthday parties that 5-8 years will totally adore? this is for a mix of boys and girls in June.

If the weather is good how about a picnic in the park? Take gear for rounders, borrow a small tent and trestle table to put food in. Old blankets for sitting on and a portable radio. Have a rounders league or play football etc. Treasure hunt.
