Everyone loves a Sunday roast, but what's the best way to cut costs on a classic Sunday roast without losing out on taste or quality!?

My kids laugh at me when I do a 'cheats roast'. I casserole chicken pieces with root veg and then serve with roast potatoes and ready made yorkies, some green veg, stuffing and the gravy already made in the casserole!

Hi lynibis snap thats what i do. And what's left over I freeze it. Glade I am not the only one. It's much easier.

Sausage casserole ( not a roast but still yummy and cheap 
)
Always find casseroles great for fussy kids with vegetables.
Roast chicken dinner ( can get a small chicken for £3 in Tesco)
