Checking Work Emails out of Hours

It’s not something I like to do, but sometimes just logging on to deal with some outstanding emails out of hours gives me piece of mind
However, I understand if work places have a ban in place to tackle burn out - thankfully, it’s not something I currently have in place

I sometimes do - pretty sad huh?! Normally if I'm waiting on hearing from someone, or if I've been away a while, out of curiosity.
I think it’s now the norm. There was one place I worked where they had their own whatsapp group and social media platform - it was annoying hearing the notifications going off every few seconds, so I muted it permanently
That’s 24/7! 
Lol I guess there’s not enough hours in the day and days in the week for you guys? As they say, no rest for the wicked 
I like to check my emails out of hours because of the type of job I do. Taking care of people who have mental health difficulties is very important especially when people really depend on many help so I do
