Christmas Day Clothes

Ask a Question

When I was a kid in the 80s we always had a new outfit for Christmas day and I think it's a shame that people don't dress up for Christmas day anymore, even if they're just staying at home.

So what will you be wearing? Dressing up, normal casual wear, PJs?

Last year we treated ourselves to a hot tub for Xmas so spent the day in swimsuits and bathrobes hahaha

What a great Present, hopefully you have a lot of bubbles 🍾

I always buy all the family new PJs for Christmas Eve, but we do dress for Christmas dinner which is normally late afternoon, I even do my makeup. 🙂

Normal or pjs 😂 I don't plan on leaving the house so I don't tend to dress up

I like to be comfy and cosy on Christmas day, so I usually wear casual clothes.

I usually buy a new shirt for Christmas day, then jettison it when the buttons start to strain after Christmas dinner.

We always used to wear 'Sunday best' on Christmas day but it seems to be outdated now. However, I am going to arrive at my son's on Xmas eve dressed to the nines in a dress that I can now wear having lost a stone. I want my son to see I have made an effort and that all is well with me even though it is a front. I would never want him to worry about me. Until I leave I will slob around in leggings and Xmas jumper though!

When I was younger we used to dress up for Christmas day, usually in something red. This year we will be wearing our Christmas jumpers, mine and my sons are red and I will have leggings on for cooking and eating!

In my family it’s a tradition to get a new pair of pyjamas on Christmas Eve, which we then wear all day on Christmas Day.

I come down in PJ's Christmas morning, stay in them until midday. Then wear the gifts I was given (because I usually ask for clothes) This year I shall be dressing as normal as I asked for a whole new bedding/duvet set and curtains.😂😂😂😂👍🏻

Last Christmas day I dressed in shorts and tee shirt, mind you it was 30c in Sri lanka. The best Christmas ever.

Growing up we always got dressed up, even to stay at home. Just two of us this year though so will probably be a Christmas jumper and leggings.
