Help

Hi, thinking of just making my mum and mother in law a sort of chrisrams hampler this year. Anyone got any good ideas or anything a little different to add? Thanks 😊

Hi AnnaSmith

If your Mum and mother-in-law are the type to still write shopping lists etc with a pen then a good quality magnetic note pad that sticks to the fridge door is very handy.

This Collins one has a strong magnet so it doesn’t fall off! And gets 5 STAR reviews at Amazon:

Another present that usually well loved is a Gift Magazine Subscription – I like to buy the January issue to put in the hamper, with a note, and start the actual sub from February – it’s a super gift that goes on giving long after Christmas. There are some great deals on magazine subscriptions with Tesco Clubcard Vouchers if I remember correctly.

Last year I gave an uncle a Mrs Bridges Pick & Mix Hamper containing 6 different jars of jam presented in a jute gift bag. Less than £20 and well received.

Thank you for the ideas. Like the magazine one, hadn't thought of that.
