Christmas Jumpers for Children
Ask a Question
Do you buy your children Christmas jumpers? I often don't as they grow out of them quickly and only wear a couple of times. Then I end up feeling mean when others have them
Not usually, but if they go to a Xmas themed party, I may have to get them. You can find cheap ones in charity shops or buy them cheap off season
hspexy the ones their sizes sold out before they went cheap or I would have got some. I buy most my stuff after the event for year after
Not always. If they have something like Xmas jumper day at school or party etc then yeah but won’t go out the way to buy them
Our son has them because his Granny buys them for him. He has a few second hand ones that I've gotten in clothing bundles but I don't go out of my way to buy them.
MrsCraig my mum used to do that for my kids but sadly she's not around to do that anymore
Imnotcheap sorry to hear she isn't around anymore. His Granny bought him a hot wheels one this year because he loves cars. He wants to wear it all the time.
Imnotcheap she tends to buy them in the next size up so he gets an extra year out of it.
MrsCraig that's still bit expensive with 2 especially with eldest going through a growth spurt
Imnotcheap charity shops usually have loads of them in, I know our local one has lots in at the moment and all £5 or less.
Imnotcheap yeah, I must admit I never wanted to do the whole Christmas jumper thing for him but his Granny bought him one for his first Christmas so that was that.
Imnotcheap our sons school doesn't do one. They can wear a Christmas jumper on the day they have their Christmas dinner if they want to but they don't do a day at his school. My school are having 2 this year. One for the local food bank and one for the local mission Christmas. I will happily take stuff in to donate but won't be wearing a jumper.
Luckily when my children were growing up they really were not around. I have one myself now but only worn it a handful of times.
LL81 I tried that last year but their sizes sold out quickly. I buy lots of my Christmas stuff afterwards for the year after
Imnotcheap that’s a shame , she’s v one of those too, stocks up on things very organised. I wish. Was more like that.. I do try
LL81 it appears that it's easier to find small sizes reduced my sons are 8 and 10. Maybe I'll have more luck this year
Luckily we have a few kids so hand me downs are compulsory lol yes they were them and so does my wife, I don't I've never worn one
Buy them a size up on sale. I never buy them full price. I buy in January when they are on sale. Just size up for next year
