I actually prefer the run up to Christmas more than the day itself.

There is too much pressure on the day for everything to be perfect.

I don’t mind Christmas, but it gets expensive. My kids are older teens now and ask for electronics.

This year we are going to my parents, Christmas meal out at their local pub, don’t have to worry about any food etc this year which is a relief!

Love the run up to Christmas especially with our 8 year old. But I get a bit sad when it's all over for another year. Christmas blues.

Hate it all worse time of year, especially the price inflation/lack of offers and people faking liking each other over a Christmas lunch .Enjoy post Christmas reduction on gluten free goodies, my Christmas starts end of January.

Howmuch do you take part in the festivities or just ignore it all

Mick82 Normally, I sort all the presents and cook the food. Would love to ignore it all, but three children would not be impressed. Looking forward to the day I can spend it somewhere in the sunshine. Not my best time of year, I am more a summer party person.

I personally enjoy the run up to Christmas. But, as it gets closer I feel pressured about making the day special for my family. I am always relieved when it is over to be honest. Then I can relax for another 364 days!

Looking forward to Christmas as its no pressure - just us at home enjoying ourselves. If anyone want to come and see us then fine - but we dont go out! After the year from Hell - this one is going to be a good one!

TBF I can take it or leave it . It is important to families and kids which many enjoy . However it does bring pressure upon struggling families - which many care to ignore ?

Maybe once you have done the presents , dinners and booze for so many years you get to worry about those who cannot afford to do such things that some of us take for granted ?

There will be plenty of days after Christmas and New Year where opportunities will arise ? The end of the Christmas season could be a start - not an end for many ☺️

I enjoy the Christmas Season but I also appreciate how hard and stressful it can be when you have young children that have wish lists!

I look forward to the family visiting, the food, tv - everything really 🎁🎄☃️
