Christmas Thumbs Up
Ask a Question
Is your Christmas getting a thumbs up or thumbs down. What were your highlights? Did you have any bad moments ?
Christmas eve was dreadful. Someone who I have been trying to get out of my life has found out that I have moved and a christmas card got pushed through the door. I can only imagine they knocked the door of my old house and was told by the new owners where I had gone. Then my parents were literally man handled and thrown out by my uncle when visting my Grandma! She has dementia so had no idea what was going on and kept phoning up to try to find out why they had been forced to leave. This is all over something that happened 5 years ago and my uncle only thought to bring it up kick off 5 years later on Christmas eve! What a d**k! That ruined Christmas Eve, but today has been nice.
Thumbs up from me...its been really ultra busy for about 2 weeks ...had a wonderful day with family...lovely food...presents ...loved the crack and banter....now im chilling like a villian with an alcoholic beverage or 5.
Few bad moments of being stressed out ma knackers...wouldnt be christmas without tho.
A bit of both for me. My husband was too sick to travel so I had to go to my parents on my own, but my son has loved it. Then about an hour ago my son vomited all over my mums bed, white carpet and chest of drawers, plus he had an explosive poo twice today, so worried that he might be ill. Plus I haven't been well, so couldn't eat much of my Christmas dinner. I want my husband here with me, especially tonight if our son is ill.
We have had a lovely day but wasnt as much fun as usual becaus my 2 year old has been ill with a viral infection and fever for almost a week now
Thumbs up from me, it was my 3 month old niece's first xmas, so exciting for that. But i never have big expectations for xmas. I find nye more of a thumbs down. How was yours?
Thanks for asking. Let’s say I’m glad the day is over and hopefully will be abroad next Christmas.
Definite thumbs up for me! It was lovely. I hope you enjoyed Christmas eyeballkerry?
Thumbs up for me. Christmas eve we visited a couple family members then went to a friends. Enjoyed a few drinks with her & a good ol chit chat. Home by 6 where we had a small buffet as a family & enjoyed a few drinks. Had a lie in Christmas day (up at 9) opened our presents...cooked dinner...ate, drank & ate some more. Boxing day I was up early & took my son to look around the sales while my other son & partner had a lie in. We went to my inlaws in the afternoon & ate drank even more. Loved it, sad it's all over.
