I have just put out some decorations in my room, and gotten out a smaller tree will put that up later this week.
How long does it take you to set up the Christmas 
tree and hanging up the lights 
and all the decorations?
When I put up the bigger tree in the living room and start decorating it takes me a 2/3 hours cause I have to move everything else away, then have to make sure it stands on a box well cause a leg on the base is broken lol and then hang all the decorations on it. I have had the tree fall down a few times during December lmao 
Didnโt bother with setting it up last yearโฆ I like the decorations to look good and symmetrical lol 
so it may take me a bit longer

It takes me about 40 minutes to be my tree it's never looks the best coz my kids but the decorations up

smaller one is much easier to decorate, got it from Paperchase a few years ago on sale
reduced to ยฃ10?!! Oh no!! Iโd be mad too!! When did you buy the Xmas tree, how long was it after that it got reduced to that much?

It depends. Sometimes it takes me an hour, others it takes me 2 or 3, it depends if my son is at home and I have to go do other things whilst doing it. I won't be doing mine for another few weeks though.
MrsCraig is that so, I have stopped putting the e bigger Christmas tree up I canโt be bothered lol and cause one of the leg on the base broke a few years back the tree always falls over cause the decorations are heavy! 
and it did have lights that would change to different colours too that also broke
Donโt need to buy a new one but would be nice but costs a lot even on sale!
I have a much smaller rose gold one for my room

A bigger tree is a lot of hassle have to make room for it and decorate it to make it look good so I have not bothered with it and just put up a much smaller one the past two years
Doesnโt take me too long tbh. Just a standard fibre optic tree, stockings, couple window lights and some light up santas. Roughly 20 minutes maybe half hour

quick set up! I gave up with the big tree for living room, same type changing coloured lights broke sometimes it does change colours and the one leg on the base broke too so with it toppled over few times cause with decorations itโs heavy

I put so much Christmas decorations up and iam ocd about my tree I keep moving things

yes I know exactly what you mean! Iโm the same thatโs why it takes me hours for decorating one tree cause I want the decorations to look even on each side and the huge gap of the tree is at the back.
Yeah I move decorations around a lot too! I stopped putting the bigger Xmas tree up last year and the year before I canโt be bothered lol
Our tree is 7 foot so quite tall, usually takes around 3 hours with cleaning up afterwards as well.
before and after HEDGEHOGS I see have fun decorating it does take time and effort to decorate the Christmas tree and inside and outside the house

decorations and baubles on it and some star 
๏ธ lights too. Got them all free from Hobbycraft! 
except the baubles from sales at Sainsburyโs a few years ago. Also decorated the living room too.

with heavy rain and strong winds today! 
Christmas literally fell out of the loft on Saturday. I spent most of the day decorating the tree and home with breaks in between. Still got to do the outside. Waiting for a bit better weather.

It doesn't take any of my time, I don't do it, the wife and kids do lol , if I lived alone I wouldn't bother with a tree ect...

An afternoon. The teenager does it. We put other bits up. I don't go to mad as we've a small place so don't have much space
My partner puts up our 6ft Christmas Tree, it was half price from Homebase a few years ago so we paid ยฃ55 between us & bought other decorations too..Our daughter & I help & we also take the Christmas Tree down & put the decorations away together unless one of us is working...
janphoenix51 I think one we have is about the same price or more itโs also from Homebase with changing coloured lights but it broke so doesnโt do that as much
Even Christmas trees on offer itโs still pricey, itโs an amount for a few months worth of groceries
I go for tacky. Been my theme for years. Don't like it to be perfect looking to be honest.

I was gonna put my tree up today but honestly I'm knackered been up all night with my little one so see what tomorrow brings
We are getting a new one or real one this year as got shot of previous one. So difficult to tell as images are different from reality so look at reviews with photos. Will take ages to stuff out of the loft and go through what to use, so much stuff to get shot of. So very half day Iโd say .
It takes me a full weekend to decorate (8hrs each day from Friday - Sunday). I have 3 trees, and a load of decorations for the whole house

That is a lot of decorations lol I hang onto the tree and for the whole house too!
