Cleaning Car
Ask a Question
Do you clean your car yourself at home or do you take it to a car wash? if you take it to a car wash do you use a hand car wash or one of the drive in machine ones?
No that’s not my job to clean the car. To be honest it’s not washed very often although the windscreen is cleaned frequently.
I was lucky to get a new car, so I do it myself. I don't trust the machine ones because they damage things and break things off. Hand washing by valets is good but then, do they do it how you like it?
My sons the driver in our house so he cleans his own car- but he often does it by hand, hes taken it to the valets a coulpe of times, but he said yesterday they dont vac right under the seats,so i suggested he TELLS THEM exactly what he wants before they do it,as theyre not phsycic, maybe you could try the same?
Are use the drive-through one as there is one near me for £3 for a basic wash which I think is very good
I had not cleaned my car for a year, luckily I only do under 6thou miles a year. It was due a wash and then someone reversed into me, repair company took it away and was spotless when returned. I used to love washing my own car but I’ve a toddler so I get my other half to do it ( when he can be bothered)
I take it to be cleaned but hoover it myself. My partner cleaned it with a bucket of water and a sponge. Can't tell the difference between either.
I only clean and Hoover the inside myself and I keep that relatively clean but the outside is a state. I used to get it done at Tesco every so often but since ive dented the back of my car and its old ive given up
