Closing Time of Comps

Has anyone else noticed that when you add the closing date to a comp it automatically puts the closing time as the time you add the comp i.e. I put comps on this morning between 5.45 & 6.00am. When added the last one I noticed this closing time anomaly.
Previously the site would have automatically chosen just before midnight and you would have changed this according to the particular comps rules.
You will probably have noticed that this is clearly reflected in the multiple closing times when you look at comps in the ‘ending’ section. There are so many different times when the comps close….
Tom Kelsey Is this a glitch or do we now have to amend each post so that they end just before midnight as this is the most common time comps end or whatever the appropriate time is?

We've had a few people have this problem and, so far, they've all been using Firefox. Could you let me know if you use Firefox please or, if not, what browser you use? Hopefully can get to the bottom of it!
Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Yep, I use Firefox! It take it that's a bad thing? I appreciate your help Kelsey.
tumblespots Hey not a bad thing at all! It just so far at least appears to be a quirk specific to the Firefox browser. So haven't quite worked out yet if it's a bug with Firefox or a bug with LD but I'll keep digging 
Morning Kelsey I've had problems with the end time function too - it wasn't working normally yesterday and it's still showing random times this morning when I click on it. (yesterday I had to go back and keep trying to adjust as it was expiring the comps and was nothing close to what I'd entered) I know there was a bug a few weeks ago so thought I'd wait it out until fixed. (using Chrome)
Until it's fixed for all comps ending the same day at 23:59 I set the end date to the next day 00:00 and it works properly that way, otherwise all comps expire within 1 minute...
sunshinemum I also set a couple of them for 00.01 because of the same problem. It's worth going back when the comp is published to check though as a couple I shared changed completely. (I think I tend to trust the system and don't go back to check that it is as I entered)
angemski hmm I had a look at my posts, and it seems end dates are 1 day earlier than they should be...but I am just tired of fixing them again 
sunshinemum I think we are going to get some compers complaining that it's finished when it isn't and vice versa I've been correcting and tweaking too but decided to give it a day to sort itself out.
Kelsey The end time function is still playing up - I'm using Chrome. I posted a comp this morning to finish at 23.59 tonight. A few hours later I notice that the comp has been expired and it shouldn't be. The only way I can get round it (as the comp is still active and I checked it was OK after posting) is to put the end time as 00.01 tomorrow. Just for info the time functions is showing random times when a deal is set up and the 23.59 is no longer the standard.
Hi angemski Thanks for the feedback and sorry to hear you're still having trouble. I am actively investigating but it sadly isn't something I'm able to reliably reproduce at the moment so I'm having to sort of guess and try various fixes. By the sounds of it my latest attempts haven't worked. I'll keep trying!

I should point out that although I agree that I can see the double up - my comp is still live and has not been removed.
I'm using Chrome and having the same issue for the last few days. Although, I've been manually changing the end time before posting.

Great thanks! I noticed this morning, the widget is now showing 23:59 as default time and after posting few comps and vouchers it seems all is back to normal
