Anyone making use of Tesco's Clubcard discounted prices on frozen food?

Ask a Question

Is anyone making use of Tesco's Clubcard discounted prices on frozen food? It started a few days and will run til early October.

I actually didn't know about it until I accidentally opened a notification by Andy from another website 😃 If you're a clubcard member, you can buy a selected frozen item.. be it chips or a dessert .. and then get a reduction from the original price. So today I got some Cadbury flake cones for £1.90 which were originally £3..

  • I bought this in store. I believe it's available online too. The discounted price doesn't come up when you scan the item or add it to the basket ..it will appear when your total is calculated at the end.

I noticed this in my local Tesco the other day and thought this is a great idea. Its a shame that it only runs until October

We do most of our weekly shop in Tesco so will be interesting to see if the price is any different tomorrow!

Haven't been to a big Tesco for a while, usually find frozen produce cheaper in other stores like the Food Warehouse

I saw the advert on tv yesterday. The problem is it is never on items that I actually buy, so I wouldn't be saving any money.

TheChimp no because that's not the pizza we buy, my husband doesn't like it

MrsCraig I reckon that they're probably the best on the market for a mere £1.25 a go.

TheChimp my husband prefers the Iceland ones. I'm not fussy about what pizza we have but he is.

Ah I noticed something on my online shop last week, added it to the basket but didn’t show Clubcard price so I removed it (didn’t actually need it!) Assumed my delivery date was outside of the offer but will have a better look on this weeks shop x

Thanks for this...I shop regularly with Tesco - only around £40 a week but still, worth taking a look.

We'll be doing our "big shop" next week so will definitely be filling the freezer. I've got my eye on the £2.50 Ben & Jerry's... 😍
