Cockroach Cake Anyone

Other

Browsing and saw this. Yes well! an entomologist might appreciate it. Some might prefer a plain old caterpillar cake. Image

Feel free to add some other weird cakes.

It doesn't look very appetising to me, but I do admire the skill of whoever made it.

Somehow that's what I was thinking as well angelik. My love of cake would probably supercede my dislike of Mr or Mrs Cockroach lol.

MelissaLee1963 It's probably a lovely cake, but that outside layer looks so realistic, and the legs... I think that would put me off trying it😀

MelissaLee1963 I think the biggest problem would be if you spotted it without knowing it was cake and stamped on it M 😉

I’ve attempted to eat a deep fried one out in thailand over a decade ago - there really isn’t anything appealing about it. My partner ate the entire thing.

let’s just say it wasn’t the worst thing he ate that holiday!

telmel lol I suppose I’ve had some really overly fried ducks that tasted like deep fried bugs. I mean, if it’s seasoned well, its like eating any snack

MelissaLee1963 it really is. I mean, there is a mental barrier for most, but then if you consider the rubbish that is in commercialised mainstream foods, then I don’t see the issues. I recall the time I really enjoyed eating pizza flavoured Pringles and the realises what cochineal was
