Just noticed a chat thread that has 'commenting closed' and a padlock pic next to title. How does this happen please, have never seen it before, some have run for years. Does the site close it down, the original commenter or anyone?

Commenting can only be closed by mentors. We typically do it if the comments get out of hand or if the topic has reached it's natural conclusion. Hope that makes sense but any questions just shout! 👍
