Companies Do Not Give Return Label and Charge High Delivery

Other

I just got shocked. Got 2 dresses from House of Fraser and wanted to return one, because the material is horrible and I got no return label. Wrote to them and read the website and they do not provide it and it means I need to keep proof of postage and the whole delivery process cost more than the dress.

Quite a few companies do this now unfortunately. I don't buy loads online but I try to check the returns policy before I buy something as I have been caught out like this before too!

I paid delivery once when I bought the dress, so I do not get why I need to pay delivery again.. And I can not it would make the delivery more expensive than the dress itself, so I will keep it and give it to someone or charity.

AgnesFaludi I kept the items too instead of sending them back and gave them to the charity shop. I don't get why you have to pay twice either! So they can make more money probably

not surprised by house of Fraser - I am still out of pocket as they have not given me a replacement for a useless gift card

zerocenturyzero nope, someone gave it to me as a gift, and then it was worthless not long after. I so would’ve quoted the consumer credit act had I bought it myself

Ain't it possible to return it in store? I'd have tried that before sending it via shipping.

Still, if you paid via Paypal then you can get your shipping charge back.

Yeah, it is possible, but the stores are in zone 1 so that means to go there cost even more than to post the dress back.
