- Get you filling in the form and clicking submit and then saying 'thanks for subscribing'.
- Not allowing you to submit until you have completed 2 lines of address before town, county and post code.....I only have one.
- Filling in a form only to see 'complete your entry by liking our fb page'.....I don't have fb.
I am sure you can think of loads more.
Then there's the 'would you like to increase your chances of winning? .....then simply complete the rest of the unconnected surveys from companies that you hate.
Oh yes, forgot about that one but knew others would think of some. I also hate having to sit through endless videos even though I understand why they make you do so.
Have seen two comps this morning where one says win a bacofoil bundle and make Easter cooking easier, the other one said win 4 bottles of wine for Easter. The first one had 22/4 closing date and the other 30/4. They must mean next Easter!
One thing that bugs me a little is when competition forms ask you for details which they don't need to know; details such as gender and the like. These fields are also usually mandatory. Whilst I am of course proud of my gender, why exactly do those companies really need to know?
I agree and I feel the same about dob. I would not enter a comp for a bungee jumping adventure at my age and most comps are non transferable so it would do me no good. Dob may be pertinent on a few comps but not most.
