'Competition' for Russian Passport Holders Only?
News
The Sun newspaper has a 'competition' offering the lucky winner the chance to follow the Salisbury Novichok suspects footsteps. Tasteless joke?
The Sun is offering a lucky reader the chance to holiday in luxury in East London before taking a two-hour train for a whistlestop tour of Salisbury Cathedral - weather permitting
It's OK though because our competition includes a second day in Salisbury.
To enter, you must be over 18, hold a Russian passport and be able to answer this question - how high is Salisbury Cathedral's spire?
A) 100 metres; B) 123 metres; C) 110 metres.
Entries made to sundayfeatures@the-sun.co.uk by midnight, Sept 19, 2018.
This would be a funny joke by The Sun if the UK media wasn't always bashing Russia and blaming them for everything, even without an ounce of proof.
Russia has become the scapegoat of everything bad that happens.
This is one of the most bizzare things ive ever seen - is the competition actually real and they are usually some tasteless humour to advertise or is it all completely made up?!
Russia could claim this to be Russophobia but they've gotten used to the nonsense from Western govts and media.
