I live in the highlands of Scotland. I live on a farm. I had a female cat and she went with a wild cat. The kitten turn out like in The pictures. Mine you he was very big. But all so very very loving. We name him Thomas. And he live in till he was 16 years old.

Growing up we had a red and white Turkish Van Cat which are a bit bigger in size than your average cat. I do wish I could have a cat the size of tiger, but without the urge to bite my head off. 🤣

This is red and white Turkish Van cat. It'll cost you about £500. We got one for free minus a small donation as the cats protection branch didn't put two and two together that this cat is a breed and no one dumps it. there was a breeder in the area and we think she must have run off. Isabella lived to be 16 year 4 months. I don't have any actual pictures of her scanned into the laptop. Image

ShellyAnn What a beautiful pussycat. 😍

I don't think I've ever seen that breed before. Not in real life anyway.

RegularComper90 they are rare. only a few red and white vans born each year. they are also known as swimming cats as they love water and swimming. Issy was fascinated by the bath and by rain. She caught pneumonia once due to getting soaked in the rain and not coming in. She was ok and got over it. I had her on my bed nursing her. It was a bit touch and go at times. her size got her through it was she weighed 15 pounds at her peak, which is normal for her breed.

nicolajaynehend I used to use her as a pillow. she was so gentle. I would lie with my head on her tummy and she would give me licks and kisses. I miss her to this day and she's been gone for 14 years.

ShellyAnn You are really making me miss having a cat. I haven't had one for 13 years. Her name was Chloe, a black and white shorthair and she was my best friend.

I love cats. My favourite animal if I had to pick one. 🐱

Aw so cute! They’re great when in the wild - as much as I having them as pets or seeing them in the neighbourhood, they are at their best when in their natural habitat

this is the Manul cat - I love how expressive they are Image

Rockman lol yes, it’s like a cartoon character. One if my cats sort of resembles a manul, mainly in terms of fur rather than in terms of expressions

Cats are my fave animals. I like most cats more than I do most humans! Today Cutie wanted to stay in due to the rain but I was going out for a meal. I couldn't really leave her in without me around to watch her in the living room due to the moth killer powder I had put down (don't ask... moths moved into my carpet) as it can be poisonious to cats, but I needed to leave it for several hours before hoovering. I couldn't get her out. She was clinging onto me a bit like a wild cat. It took 2 of us to try and get her in the garden. Haven't sen her since. She's now in a mood. She'll come in through the bedroom window at about 4am tonight and jump on the bed to get revenge on me I think. 😟 😆
