Congratulations! England Beats Germany
In the News
I am not English & I don't like football but congratulations on the 2:0 score.
The atmosphere in the stadium is electric and my husband is a Happy Bunny !
Im not a fan (usually) of football but i did watch tonights match and i admit i was screaming at the telly! I got right in to it...the best of it is my other half doesn't like footy either and he went out 10 mins after the start of the game so i carried on watching til full time
England played a good 2nd half! Congrats!
My husband did as well, I had to rewind the TV, but they were genuinely thrilled jumping up and down and yelling, you would have thought it was the final.@PinkElephant26
Even when we went 2 - 0 up I still feared the worst.
Nice to actually come out on top against Germany for a change.
Great match with England on very good form for most of it. I feel we could get to the final (not saying we will) but there we could face maybe Spain or Italy and not sure we are up to their game but you never know.
Have a feeling this is their year they got some fantastic players and very little egos unlike past tournaments
It was nerve-wracking! I was wondering whether the Scots and Welsh supporters are now supporting England?
Grannyclock Errrrrrrrrrm, nope.
We're childish like that.
Also had a few quid on the Germans.
Got the hump.
I have to be glad as my husband is English and he is a good sport when Wales wins against England at rugby @Grannyclock
My husband went to watched the Wales game in the pub. I didn't bother watching as I find football boring. If it's on in the room, I just check emails on my tablet and listen to my husband reactions. He was on tenderhooks
Missed the first half due to work but watched the second half and it had me on the edge of my seat! When they scored, jumping around shouting top of lungs!
My husband is Scottish and Iβm half Scottish. Iβm England through and through, hubby Scotland but will support the lions too.
I am very happy for my daughter as she runs a pub and after lockdown she needs as many customers as possible.
Im happy too. I watched with my OH and 2 sons now my 6 year old wants to stay up to watch next match which starts at his bedtime even though he got board my end of last one
