[Solved] A Constructive Criticism of an "LD Hunters " Deal Removed - Why ?

A very poor deal from an "LD Hunter" prompted me to point out the fact to fellow members with a comment explaining why it was a poor deal and with absolutely nothing that breached any site guidelines . Yet it was removed !
Just would like to clarify that while the team encourage us to post valid , polite criticism of "deals" that does not apply to criticism of LD Hunters deals ?
I think it's good to be able to comment if a deal isn't too good ...I've had a couple where people have said the item can be found more cheaply elsewhere - which is more than fair and I have replied accordingly. Last week someone posted that a Lakeland-similar item was available far cheaper at a bargain store.... again, fair enough, I didn't know that, but equally that product may well not have been of decent quality and wouldn't have the 3 year no quibble guarantee.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' at times. Non crafters may consider my deals pretty dire but I post items which interest me and mine and I tend to go with looking after the pennies cos they all mount up.
Maybe your comment was misinterpreted? I don't know .... I do agree that the constant Amazon deal posts are infuriating .... I lose the will trying to scroll through as there are soooo many. P.S. I'm now wondering what the deal was 
... I checked and don't think it was one of mine.
Absolutely ! Despite the fact that 90% of Amazon deals posted are not deals , they get past the moderators by being a percentage off a totally made up price . Only if members know the value of items are they a deal . Sadly 30 seconds of "click and pasting " from Amazon = 3 "non deals" 300 points thank you kindly !
My polite comment was about a LD hunters deal and merely advised members to look for identical Amazon items (with or without a voucher or discount ), I just don't like to see our less savvy members paying over the odds for "non deals" .
I won't elaborate at this time as I have made a very forceful more detailed complaint to Latest deals - fat lot of good that will do !
Your field of expertise is not one that interests me to be honest but you post great deals and you do it from your own knowledge of the crafts deals you see.- most important you know a good deal when you see one 
and then share it .
If only we all just shared deals we know are good rather than posting random Amazon , New Look etc etc deals for points as they have a 20 % . 40% discount offa totally made up price !
You never get a reply or like off them I think they robots 
. I know exactly which other deal group they follow and they use flash section which is duplicate in my eyes. Yep I will admit I follow few deal sites and share here so does a few fellow members.

I know that , just trying to be diplomatic (not my forte ) . In my view it's deception ? many of our less savvy members thinking a member of the respected Latest Deals team has found a deal !
If that's how Latest Deals want to run their business model - fair enough 
but don't annoy me by deleting a perfectly polite and relevant criticism of the posted deal !
Golfforall as Tom asks to mention names I believe his name not to be mentioned he was a very popular member on here before went his own way.
Ann1984 No Tom asks us not to mention names (quite rightly ) but a few broad hints do appear to get picked up and I notice action has been taken . I try to help but I can't run the site for them , and TBH I'd rather be playing golf .

Thanks , it was not a "mind blowing " comment , certainly not abusive or anything like that . It just advised members to know the "value" of generic Chinese stuff sold on Amazon before being fooled by discounts or vouchers .
I have of course used the "contact" form to express my discontent (which as usual I expect to get no reply) .
Nice to hear from you as always and nice to see Latest Deals are still employing some "Humans" . As I mentioned in my "contact " the proliferation of these "bots" is not helping "Latest Deals " at all 
. But I know you couldn't possibly comment .

Sorry about this. I'm in the process right now of tweaking our internal guidelines/approach to try and reduce the risk of this happening in the future. Clearly that comment shouldn't have been moderated!

Ann1984 We'll see , should improve the "popular page" and make it more accurate as maybe members should just like for the quality of the deal rather than the points (but how many will realise they don't get points for "liking " any more ?)
Golfforall i do try to post good deals but recently pointed out with few things but i seen a deal yesterday on popular page added pics over Β£3.99 and user wrote in there deal Β£1 I think for gaining likes then edit Β£1.99 after when there deal crossed 100likes 
no one pointed that I love to see few users deals they do post good deals I will support them no matter my points goes for liking hopefully
Jasmine111 The more we post deals that we believe to be good (rather than generic Amazon Chinese tat ) the better the site will become . Don't be shy , post your opinions on deals (I do, hence this chat topic ) . It's all to help fellow members , which after all is what the site should be about ?

To be fair , I like provoking discussion , and I think the LD team likes that too . I would love the whole million of us to discuss , interact and comment on deals - I'm trying my best .
